DARREL Mayers won Cormorants’ match on Dandy’s Ford Match Lake with 97 lb of carp taken on long pole and pellet from peg 13.

Phil Stride was second with 69 lb 14 oz of carp on the long pole and corn from peg 17, with Dwayne Seed third from peg 19 with 42 lb of carp on long pole and pellet. Others: Lee Goodfellow 40 lb 6 oz, John Banks 24 lb 12 oz and Dave Hydes 24 lb 10 oz.

Pete Bailey won the Teams of Four match fished on Witherington Farm with 69 lb 10 oz of carp on bread.

Darrel Mayers was second on Cottage Lake with 39 lb of carp. Steve Mustiano came third fishing on the Outer Snake, with John Gray (Outer Snake) fourth with 29 lb 4 oz. Teams on the day: Whitemoor Lakes 39 pts, Andover Browning Red 29 pts. League to date: Whitemoor Lakes 139 pts, Barneys Blacks 138 pts.

Eastleigh’s Match on Stoneham Top Lake saw 25 anglers fishing with Clive Egerton winning with 11 lb 14 oz of bream on the tip .

Chalky White was second with an 8 lb 8 oz carp and one bream for 10 lb 4 oz, and Steve Pomery was third with bream, skimmers and roach on the pole for 8 lb 10 oz.

Dickie Reeves landed 7 lb 15 oz of bream, skimmers and tench, Dave Pool took 7 lb 10 oz of bream and skimmers on the pole, and Mick Hawkins reeled in 7 lb 8 oz including 4 lb of perch.

Ashley Tomkins won the Todber Manor Hill View Open with 46 lb 2 oz from peg 56.

Jason North was second on peg 60 with 36 lb and Bob Gullick 30 lb 3 oz from peg 51 for third.

Joint winners of the silvers bag went to Gary O’Shea and Nigel Garrett with 9 lb 3 oz each.

On The Isle of Wight, things have been quiet with a couple of fish reported from the Blackwater Syndicate.

Roy Dennis took a 31 lb 2 oz common and Jack Petitt a 29 lb 13 oz mirror.

On the day ticket water at Rookley Park, Jack Hughes took four carp to 22 lb 8 oz, while Lee Sawyer took two mirrors of 24 lb 4 oz and 22 lb 8 oz.

l On Todber Manor’s Paddock Lake, Ryan Sanders banked four carp with three over 20 lb to 23 lb 8 oz on maggots.

Alex Rivers landed four carp to 22 lb 7 oz during a 48 hour session.

Matt Candy landed a 21 lb mirror on CC Moore Live System and maggots and Greg Wyke fished a day session managing a 24 lb 12 oz mirror.

Joe Green landed a 15lb fish while visiting Linbrook Fishery.
Carl Targett had his first fish of 2017 with a 17 lb 4 oz and Mike Blow took Dixys Common at 28 lb 3 oz.


On Milton Abbas, John Alexander took a cracking personal best pike with a 20 lb 9 oz specimen.


Longbridge produced 5 Scales to Pete Drozd at 18 lb 4 oz.  Plenty of doubles are being caught with the best areas the ditch, back bank and the bench swim.
 

On Willow Bank, Andy Target took six carp including mirrors of 28 lb 12 oz, 24 lb 2 oz and 22 lb 8 oz on CC Moore Live System.
