THE Hannah Chamberlain Foundation (THCF) will be doing a bucket collection at St Mary's tomorrow at Saints' match against Bournemouth.

The charity was set up in memory of Hannah Chamberlain, who died in November 2009, aged just 20, after a battle with Osteosarcoma, which is a rare form of bone cancer.

The THCF provides grants for young people aged between 17 and 25 who are receiving cancer treatment at Southampton General Hospital.

"Ideally the grants are to be used for entertainment while in hospital or for days out when their treatment allows, although some are used for general living expenses if their income is effected by their illness," said a THCF spokesperson.

"Southampton General Oncology Unit treats young people from the whole of the south coast and our charity have given grants to young people all over the south of England.

"Any donations you can give will make an enormous difference to the young people we help."
