HAMPSHIRE star Shahid Afridi and his Pakistan colleagues were thumped by arch rivals India in today’s World Cup t20 encounter.

Afridi, who has only passed 30 once in his last 24 t20 ODIs, was promoted up the order to No 3 but only made 14 as Pakistan were bowled out for just 128 in their Super Eights group.

Afridi, who is due to play for Hampshire in their forthcoming Champions League qualifiers in South Africa, then took 1-34 off his four overs when India raced to victory by eight wickets with Virat Kohli unbeaten on 78 off 61 balls.
