Trojans captain Joby Kochanowski led his troops to a brilliant bonus point victory on his 200th first team game for the club.
The skipper put his side ahead in the early stages of their London 3 South-West game at Battersea Ironsides and they kept their noses in front throughout an enthralling encounter.
Kochanowski dived over the line from the back of a scrum moments after the kick off.
The home side hit back with a penalty before a quick Trojans penalty found Alex Williams and he crashed over the line.
Trojans then turned the ball over in their own 22 and a scintillating run down the touchline by winger Tom Stevenson was stopped just short.
The move still netted seven points as Ben Tontaine went over from a scrum and Toogi Long converted.
Battling Battersea hit back with a couple of tries to make sure they were still in the picture at half time.
However, the Stoneham Lane side struck quickly again – Long going over the whitewash.
Back came Battersea with a try but that was cancelled out when Jack Groves forced his way over the line.
Constant Battersea attacks were quelled by Trojans who went further ahead from a rolling maul – Dave Linton getting the touchdown.
The home side did get rewarded for their continual efforts with a late try.
