HAMPSHIRE racers Dee Caffari and Brian Thompson have moved into second position after two days racing in the Transat Jacques Vabre race.
The order of the Open 60 IMOCA class changed repeatedly overnight with Sébastian Josse and Jean François Cuzon on BT emerging as race leaders in the 10am position report.
Caffari and Thompson, onboard Aviva, are just 4.3 miles behind.
Mike Golding and co-skipper Javier Sansó have sailed Mike Golding Yacht Racing into sixth while Sam Davies is in eighth on Artemis Ocean Racing.
Hugo Boss, sailed by Gosport-based Alex Thomson, is currently 11th in the 13-boat fleet.
