HE is one half of one of the country's favourite TV couples, best known for being outspoken, constantly interrupting his wife and that Ali G impression.

Richard Madeley has been providing moments of television gold alongside his wife Judy Finnigan for more than 20 years.

Now, in his latest adventure since moving off the Richard & Judy couch, the 62-year-old has taken up sailing – and where better place to sail than on the Solent?

Richard has teamed up with five other intrepid celebrities for new programme All At Sea.

The show sees Richard along with television favourites Bradley Walsh and Nick Hancock, journalist Dawn Porter, cookery legend Rosemary Shrager and presenter Mark Durden-Smith hit the high seas to discover the south coast.

Tonight (Thurs) viewers will be able to watch the six landlubbers sail around the Solent as they get to grips with their vessels – a stunning 79-tonne tall ship called Phoenix and a £5m superyacht.

As well as having the scale the huge mast of Phoenix, Richard's team – this week captained by Dawn Porter – also check out Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight where they experience its famous chairlift.

Richard also provides viewers with a 'cheeky' moment as he goes for a dip in he chilly waters of the bay.

The show, the second of three, sees Richard's crew end their voyage in Portsmouth while the other team end up in Poole Harbour.
