WITH wind in excess of 25 knots, the race team decided to cancel both the Flying Fifteen and Sonar Class. Class A Z and C were sent away to windward into the ENE’ly blow.
At the starts, Stirling was outside of the Outer Distance Mark at the start, but returned and started correctly, but Little Spirit who was also outside the ODM did not return.
Using North Ryde Middle and East Bramble as their turning marks, they came back to Prince Consort, Trinity and Gales HSB. Before crossing the finish line just before the light faded.
