Steven Davis is an embarrassment .

He comes in under the radar for next to nothing and then proceeds to do everything asked of him to a very high standard keeping 'star' signings out of the team and makes it very difficult to justify leaving him out.

And you never hear a peep from him...or more tellingly, about his 3 Scottish league titles or his UEFA cup final or his player of the year awards as very young prospect at Villa.

STOP IT DAVIS! ...STOP IT NOW!

Think JWP has been looking ready for a regular starting place lately, might be the chance he needs. Would be a shame for SD though, he's been fantastic this season

Agree. Absolute bargain. But then again JW-P was even cheaper. Corkie is also available so we are spoilt for choice. Happy days.

My first post but I've read plenty in the past. Yes, frustrating that we're not scoring more goals but I'd much rather have the problem of scoring few but conceding not many than scoring lots and conceding lots. Obviously 0-0 is always going to get you one more point than 2-3 or 3-4.

Amazing that SRL has not scored with his boot from general play this season - 2 headers for Eng and a free kick and pen for Saints. On the other hand, during the 3 successive wins v Liverpool, Palace and Swansea, Saints scored five goals - all by different players. That has to be a good sign. If you add in the League Cup game it was seven different players who scored the seven goals !

Still a bit annoyed that the only point the bottom team has got came against us (and it was nearly all 3). That's football, of course.

By the way, I first saw Saints at The Dell in Dec 1962. Beat Norwich 3-1. A repeat of that score later in the season would be most welcome !
