CUCO Martina was a surprise inclusion in the Europa League's Team of the Week.
The Saints defender was named in the best eleven by UEFA for his performance in the goalless draw at Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday evening.
Captain Virgil van Dijk and Fraser Forster were both very impressive in the 0-0 draw on a hostile night at Hapoel's Turner Stadium, but it was Curacao international Martina who received recognition by Europe's football governing body.
The 27-year-old played the whole match as a right-back and got forward well in spells.
The former FC Twente man got a number of crosses into the box, but was often left frustrated as most of his efforts were easily cleared by Hapoel, with no Saints attackers willing to try and get on the end of his deliveries.
