HAPOEL Be’er Sheva arrive at St Mary’s tonight on a great run of domestic form.

Since drawing 0-0 with Saints at the end of September, the defending Israeli champions have rattled off seven successive league victories.

Here, the Daily Echo looks at those wins ...

Maccabi Petah Tikva (H) W 5-0 Former Leicester loanee Migel Vitor scored twice in a game where Be’er Sheva led 4-0 after 37 minutes. Lucio Maranhao, Tony Nwakaeme (penalty) and Michael Ohana also scored.

Ironi Kiryat (A) W 2-0 Striker Ben Sahar scored twice in the second half.

MS Ashdod (H) W 5-0 Be’er Sheva stormed into a 2-0 lead inside 14 minutes through Maharan Radi and an own goal. Maor Buzaglo (penalty) and Lucio Maranhao struck in the second period while Radi added a second.

Be’er Sheva’s winning run has moved them into an eight-point lead at the top of the table. Second are Maccabi Tel Aviv, who also finished runners-up - by just three points - to Be’er Sheva in last season’s two-horse title race.

This season, Be’er Sheva have won nine, drawn one and lost one of their 11 league games - scoring 30 goals and conceding just five. Their sole loss was a 2-1 setback at Maccabi Haifi on September 19.
