THE Daily Echo has teamed up with Saints to offer all pubs, clubs and workplaces a money-can’t-buy occasion – a pint with Jan Poortvliet!

The Saints boss and academy director Mark Wotte recently paid a visit to the Osborne public house in Southampton to meet fans and answer questions.

The Dutch pair were accompanied by players Lee Holmes and Tommy Forecast.

On the back of that, and in a bid to improve community relations, Poortvliet and Wotte will visit other Saints fans in the area in the next few months.

Along with two players, they will be at the Freemantle pub in Paynes Road, Shirley, next Thursday between 8.30pm and 10pm.

They will also visit Skandia employees at the company’s Southampton premises in early December – Skandia are sponsors of Saints’ community department.

Poortvliet and Wotte are keen to visit as many fans as possible and pubs, social clubs and companies can win a visit from them.

To stand a chance, all you have to do is email echosport@dailyecho.co.uk explaining why your place and your friends would love to ‘Have a pint with Jan’.

The best answers will win – it’s as simple as that.

Keep up to date with Saints in the Daily Echo
