ADAM Lallana has revealed he is staying at Saints, declaring he is 100 per cent committed to the club.

The midfielder’s future at St Mary’s was thrown into some uncertainty earlier this summer, after previous boss Mark Wotte said Lallana wasn’t sure if he wanted to stay.

Premiership Wolves also bid £500,000 for the youngster, a figure Wotte blasted as derisory.

However, after scoring in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Hearts, Lallana said he was going nowhere.

Saints boss Alan Pardew was also adamant he would not let the midfielder go.

Lallana said: “I’m 100 per cent committed to Southampton.

“I’ve got two years left here.

“Whatever’s in the papers is just in the papers really.

“I've known since forever really that I’m always going to be here and I’m definitely here for at least the next two years.”

Pardew said Lallana was a big part of his plans for the future and that Saints would no longer be quick to sell their best youngsters.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s staying at this club, no doubt in my mind,” declared Pardew.

“I’m not letting him go anywhere.

“He’s a young player and too many good young players have gone out of here through financial pressure."
