RICKIE Lambert has been impressed with new signing Tadanari Lee, following the Japan international’s arrival at the club.
Lee officially moved to St Mary’s last week and played the last half-an-hour of Saturday’s 1-1 FA Cup draw at Millwall alongside Lambert in attack.
The former Sanfrecce Hiroshima star could make his league debut in tonight’s meeting with Cardiff.
“I’ve been very impressed with his movement, it’s very sharp,” said Lambert.
“He’s not match fit yet, although he’s not far off.
“His runs are quality and he’s fast, so it’s refreshing to have someone like him.”
