Not great odds for a team that's second favourite for the drop but worth a few bob.

Sometimes I think we might struggle, particularly with such a hard start other times I think we will do well. Can't wait to find out which it's to be!

Yes, sounds like a good match. I would have loved to have gone. Alas, it's a fair drive and my mate in Geneva is away. Furthermore, I had to work until 4.30pm and have to start again at 7.30am tomorrow. Saturday's also out as I'm on Eurostar home.

There's always next year when, on the Swiss tour, we'll be billed as Premier League Champions :)

So during the season you are in France and can't get to games and then when the Saints come to you, you get on the train home. Sounds skunty to me!

I think Puncheon figures in NA's plans this year. I haven't heard of anyone sniffing around him so far and he had more game time than most last night.

B.Sharp was wearing number 10 last night and Do Prado was wearing 22. I think this might be the squad numbers seeing as Lallana was wearing his usual number 20.
Hopefully nobody has gone for last seasons squad numbers on there new Saints kit.

Jay Rod was carrying a VERY slight knock. Nothing to worry about. Same with Chappers (hence his limited match time last night).

As for Lee, he's not going to be ready for the start of the season but should be in the frame come September.

I got 150-to-one for a top four finish. The cashier at the betting shop made a brave but futile effort to stifle the giggles. Bless her. Whatever, I reckoned I could live without the fiver and it would pay for a seriously serious celebration if Saints do the incredible and qualify for Europe.
Further, I expect the odds to drop considerably as Messrs Cortese & Adkins continue to recruit.
