FURTHER to your article on Glen Lee residential care home in Southampton, we were shocked and upset by your report.
We have an elderly relative residing there and have never had any cause for concern over her care or safety.
The staff do an excellent job under difficult circumstances caring for severe dementia sufferers and this article is detrimental to the work done there.
We would recommend this home over any other that we have seen and urge anyone not to be discouraged by this report.
Keep up the good work, well done.
