I sympathise with Mr E Goodal with respect to the emptying, or non-emptying, of bins on the specified day.
To my suprise I observed two collection vehicles parked up in Sainsbury’s Lordshill car park at 10.45am on Tuesday, July 16.
They were there for at least 30 minutes and their operatives were indulged in general chat and visiting the store for provisions. No wonder the council has difficulty in achieving punctual bin emptying deadlines.
