I WOULD like to express my admiration for those Erskine Court residents who stood against the previous council administration’s wish to demolish their homes to be sold off to a housing association for flats to be built.
I would also like to express my admiration of Councillor Warwick Payne, Cabinet member for housing, for the manner in which he changed the plans to allow more council flats to be built there and the previous Erskine Court residents to return in due course.
He actually listened to the concerns of those tenants, unlike his predecessor.
