THE 100 per cent increase in the National Lottery ticket is a pound too far. I spent £10 a week, which is now £20 for the same remote chances.
The EU lottery has larger prizes and more winning prizes, so far most weeks I have won between £6 and £16, and am keeping my fingers crossed for the big win which at the age of 80 is not going to do me a lot of good, and may spoil what is left of my contented life.
