ANOTHER “vision” of a Southampton waterfront development, of Centenary Quay at Woolston (Daily Echo, December 28), and another totally unimaginative collection of monotonous apartment blocks.
Described as not looking out of place on the Mediterranean coasts of France or Spain, the only image that came to my mind was of the 1960s tower blocks of Benidorm!
Such a waste of a chance to build something original and striking on a large waterfront site.
ALISON PARSONS, Southampton.
