I HAVE decided to act on the terrible decision to merge the two Southampton schools Millbrook and Oaklands, when there was no need of this, which resulted in the disruption of the children’s education, and had a severe effect on the Lordshill area and Millbrook.

Firstly, the new school was not built until years afterwards, so there was no need to move the children. I have written to councillors, asking for a public inquiry on the matter, and have written to Oasis asking them to explain.

These are the things that I would need: the children’s records before they went to Oasis and what was predicted for them in exams, and what level they got to under Oasis. I have spoken to children who were affected by this and it is not good news.

We should have asked many questions. I want these children to have justice and the truth told. I would like your help. I get nothing from this, only the hope that justice can be done for these children.
