Relief road plan
HOW about building a relief road from Chilworth and across Lordswood Forest to Coxford Road. It would require a new entry and exit off the M27 but vacant land is available for this.
The bridge over the motorway is already in place.
There would be little problem crossing the forest.
The scheme has been talked about for 50 years or more but never implemented. It would take pressure off The Avenue.
