Why doesn’t paying double make up for missing a month of council tax?
I'M CONFUSED! I missed a council tax payment in May, but paid two instalments in June.
Today I received a court summons for council tax arrears!
The explanation was “you can’t pay two months in one month,” even though they have my money I am in arrears, face court and court charges of £70. Can someone explain the logic?
