TV footage exposed how ducks are kept in cruel conditions
THE outbreak of bird flu is no doubt serious for duck breeders and those who eat poultry.
But the publicity will have sickened those of us who care about animal welfare. Seeing the TV footage of ducks kept in cages at duck farms was horrible, no free roaming for them, and no ponds to swim in. Such cruelty should be made illegal. Is there no end to man’s exploitation?
Please boycott other than free-range poultry.
