AS a council tax payer in Southampton, I am amazed that Southampton City Council, who say they have no money to waste, have thrown away thousands of pounds on putting in so-called speed humps in South East Road in Sholing which have had no effect at all at slowing traffic.
I have noticed that Tarmac has already started to break up.
I would like to know why the council did not put traffic lights in place at the junction of Kathleen Road/South East Road, instead of wasting money on road measures that don’t work.
