A BIG thank you to everyone who filled the Salvation Army hall in Shirley to capacity on both occasions when the Glory of Christmas Carol Concerts were held.
Your generosity in purchasing admission tickets and giving in the appeal collection is very much appreciated. The total amount raised of £3,325 has been divided between Simon Says, helping local bereaved children (the charity chosen by the Rotary Club of Southampton West) and The Salvation Army, to specifically support its work in the UK helping vulnerable people with a variety of needs.
May God be with you this Christmas and in the New Year.
TERESA HARRIS (Major), Southampton Shirley Salvation Army.
