MY granddaughter travels to Barton Peveril College on a daily basis. She arrives late, sometimes by as much as 30 minutes, two or three times a week due to the bus service with Xelabus.
This can result in missing a third of a lecture or tutorial.
She has paid Xelabus £560 for an annual season ticket only to struggle to get onto a crowded bus and quite often a late one.
She has even been told on one occasion when the bus was full that she should walk.
I really don’t think this is acceptable. She has paid in advance for a service that is a disgrace.
Surely Xelabus has a duty to fulfil its contract, even if this means putting on extra buses?
