I USED a bus recently which somebody had been sick on.

Apparently there were no spare buses to take passengers from the Lymington Hospital area in a clean vehicle (as they were booked for school pick-ups).

This is a disgrace worthy of reporting. As I waited, the bus shelter was under repair at Lymington Hospital and the forecourt for picking patients up was inadequate with it also being used by tradesmen, buses and incoming patients’ vehicles.

What clutter there would be if the hospital was up to full capacity.

There were calls from different New Forest areas at the More Bus meetings, for more buses to the hospital, then we get fewer from the new timetable, and angry comments were rife about the absence of Cllr Woodward.

Also, in the light of heavy rainfall, should there be any more building on low-lying New Forest areas?
