Harriet Yeo, former chairman of Labour’s National Executive Committee, has recently resigned due to Ed Miliband’s refusal to hold a referendum on the EU.

I wonder how many thousands of previous Labour voters share her view.

I have read many comments on whether we should have a referendum or not and they always give an opinion as to whether we should stay or go.

This totally misses the point, which is: let the people decide for themselves.

It is completely non-democratic to refuse the people the opportunity to express their views.
