Well Mr Rawlinson’s letter made me cringe (Cuts and job losses paint a gloomy picture, Daily Echo, February 25).
The last Government left this country in a mess. From what I've read/seen of socialists/trade unions, the majority seem anti-Government, anti-anything that moves.
Where were they when Ford pulled out? No union leader fought against Tory/Labour when most of our great companies were sold out.
The heads of these trade unions have salaries higher than the PM’s. The majority of workers earn just above minimum wage, as does my son.
Perhaps Mr Rawlinson would like yet another Government which borrows and leaves the kitty bare. At least this one has made a stab at getting our workshy back to work.
M RICKARDS, Poole.
