Did I hear correctly? On my local radio station they announced that Vince Cable, treasury spokesman for the Liberal Democrats would scrap inheritance tax by adding a higher rate of income tax on the most wealthy and even do away with stamp duty. I have been saying this for 20 years and the Lib Dems are at long last listening.
