I KNEW the moment I read the letter (May 22) by Mally Dee that she was stirring a sleeping hornet’s nest, just when things were quietening down on the Lib-Dem scene.
After the bashing they took in the general election it’s no wonder Martin Kyrle (Letters, May 26) has had to work so hard to re-scaffold the party and raise it from the near-dead – raising money and selling tickets, as he puts it.
He certainly put a heap of effort explaining some of his activities into his letter and tells us he only writes when he has something important, interesting or amusing to write about.
He then goes on to say Mally Dee failed in this department, so when is he going to start?
Whatever Mally Dee failed in she certainly succeeded in stirring a Lib-Dem nerve centre.
