Animal rescuers should be honoured
THE Queen’s Birthday Honours were this month, but why do we never see animal rescue names on the list?
My nominations would be those who run such centres and are on hand day and night to take pets, from the desperate or fickle to those subject to abuse.
What would happen if they have to be turned away from lack of space?
