China bound bottles: I might as well put them in the bin
FOR years on end I have been dutifully sorting my rubbish into recyclable and not.
What a bolt from the blue to learn that much of what I put in the green bin is ‘Going to China’.
I am aware that crippling energy taxes based on the unproven claim that Global Temperature is linked to carbon release, have injured the cement and steel industries here.
I cannot trust the IPCC due to the Redcar event. But come on, if it’s being sent to China on a boat I will take the green option and put it in the black bin.
