Travel alternatives
IN response to your correspondent (No Bus For Work, Southern Daily Echo, 25 August), could I point out there are other alternatives open to them from Sunday, 6 September 6 instead of using Service 5?
First is still linking Sholing with the city centre through Service 9 which runs every 30 minutes, Mondays to Saturdays.
Your correspondent can also visit our new Southampton website, http://www.firstgroup.com/southampton.
This now includes a Journey Planner to help them explore the options for their future travel plans throughout the city.
