JEREMY Corbyn states at the Brighton conference that he loves his country. I think he intends to change it, but not for the better.

He says ‘we are a rich country’, we are at the moment, but that has nothing to do with the Labour Party.

It is down to the fact that we are a trading country, and business is essential.

The stockbrokers could quickly change that situation. We all know that millions of immigrants are going to share what little we now have.

How are we going to house them all?

I remember when we opened our doors to the Spanish, fleeing from the Nazi threat in the 1930s. They were housed in the open land in Stoneham Lane under canvas.

I don’t believe that we can seriously house them all.

Also the fact that we should compensate idling people by the public purse, people who have never lifted a hand to help the economy.

When I watched the glassy-eyed faces of the faithful at the conference I wonder if these people have taken into consideration the full facts.

If I was a Labour supporter I would seriously consider about changing my support for a very suspect unknown.

I will, if I am still around, watch the next election with great interest, and I do not expect any change.
