Don Cartridge
I WAS saddened to read of the death of Don Cartridge, he was well known in local cricket circles but I remember him best as our sports teacher at Millbrook Boys School in the late 50s and early 60s.
Whilst my days at the school were happy times, Don especially was a major influence in my youth by the manner in which he treated us and encouraged us to participate in all sports. I will remember him with respect and affection.
