Cyclists need to stick to rules of the road. Re: the letter dated 16th Jan, I TOTALLY agree with the person who wrote into the echo about cyclists.
They do jump lights. They do weave in and out of pedestrians. They don’t abide by the rules. They do get away with it.
It is about time these reckless cyclists had their bikes taken away from them and fined before someone gets killed or hurt.
If a motorist has a light out we get stopped.
Also, it is about time the council reinstated the hatch boxes, keep clear signs, and the white lines on our roads properly.
The council are a disgrace. It's such a joke! It's important that we keep inside the lines when you need to keep in your lines but we need to be able find them first.
All i see is half a job done with the lines on our roads.
