MANY people are complaining they do not know enough about the European Union, regarding the facts on the decision they will be making on the forthcoming referendum.

Daniel Hannan has been an MEP for South East England since 1999, which should mean he, more than others trying to influence us one way or the other on in or out, should know exactly what goes on in the European Parliament and its effect on this country and its democracy.

I therefore commend his book Why Vote Leave to all as authoritative, factual writing from someone who has been on the coalface of politics for 17 years.

I was staggered by his revelations, being previously unaware, apart from the media, of the workings, accountability and decision-making policies of this massive superpower. In my opinion, these are views that we should all be made aware of, before making any decision on June 23 2016.
