RE: £30 billion Australian submarine Contract.
Rather amazing to see the approach of the countries involved in bidding for the contract, namely France and Germany, who abhor collusion between companies when they bid for contracts.
And yet when the this bid took place it would appear this is exactly what happened.
When the bids were opened, Mr Hollande pulled out all the stops and ensured he was in the meeting along with his senior ministers and naval personnel.
Mrs Merkel on the other hand merely sent two junior ministers!
Surprise, surprise, France won the £30 billion order.
Collusion?
