IT DOES seem odd to me that MPs, for an example, who are paid for by the taxpayer, end up with honours such as Knighthoods. They are already quite well paid. Some appear to do very little, and achieve next to nothing.

Then their followers treat them as some kind of hero! When, the rest of us, who face genuine difficulties, get no help.

As I have said many times, ‘it is who you know, not what you know’, unfortunately appears to be the aim of the game!

All of my life, I have been taken for granted, without any reward. Sir Cliff Richard, who I admit was picked upon, and who wants to prosecute those involved is seeking a million pound in damages. I wish I could sue all those who ruined my life and made me ill.

It is a very strange society, we have created.
