HAS anyone been to A&E at Southamp-ton General Hospital lately?

On June 2 my brother took me to Hillier's, Botley. While looking up at the beautiful orchids I turned quickly, lost my balance and fell heavily on the back of my head. Blood poured onto the floor and over my clothes.

An ambulance was called and took me to A&E. It was packed and there was only one doctor. I waited nine hours before going home!

Why were there insufficient staff on duty in A&E? Where is all this money going?

I am 85 years of age; lucky my brother was with me!

"It is not possible for me to comment on this particular patient's experience but I would encourage her to contact our complaints department so that we may look into any concerns she has.''
