THE most surprising news item this week, is that convicts can now contact Amazon and other outlets via the internet.
On receipt of these items by agreement, they have to be delivered to the door – the cell door.
If not of the standard of goods ordered they are entitled to be returned.
Presumably the wardens or ‘screws’ have to repackage them.
When I read this I had to check the calendar, no, not April first.
Perhaps it’s a scene from a Laurel and Hardy film – if you remember them.
Can somebody in authority please explain the meaning of deterrent.
The do-goodies are definitely in charge of the prison service, and I suspect certainly sitting in Parliament. I suspect Donald Trump could do a better job.
