WHO has the answer to the traffic congestion that we are all facing on a daily basis in the city?

My current bus trip is taking anything from 45 minutes to one hour and 15 minutes!

I catch the number seven bus every day, at about 7.40am, paying my £9 all-week ticket, only to be held up coming down the road towards Woodmill for at least 20-30 minutes and then again at St Catherine’s Road, to go back into the mainstream of traffic is another 10minutes, then a further 10 minutes queueing to get across Cobden Bridge.

It doesn’t end there, oh no - wait until you get to Bevois Valley and it all starts again!

My colleagues have started quoting Reggie Perrin to me, if we remember his “11 minutes late due to...”.

I am not blaming the bus companies, they are only a small part of the traffic!

For some reason, Tuesdays are the worst day of the week and Friday is a good day. Anyone got any answers?
