WHO does Alan Whitehead, MP for Southampton Test, think he is representing?
He has now gone against the wishes of the electorate by voting against triggering Article 50 and also against the directions of his party.
I would be very surprised if many people voted for Mr Whitehead personally and would be more inclined to believe that those same voters would have elected whoever was the Labour candidate, as they believe in the policies of the Labour Party.
I hope that the party de-select Mr Whitehead at the next opportunity, or if they do not, that the electorate of Southampton Test elect someone who will represent them.
