WITH regard to the bus lane camera debate, there are many examples of badly designed bus lanes and junctions but Northam Road isn’t one of them.
Thankfully we don’t have to drive into Southampton for work anymore as we are now in a new location. However, when we did it used to be annoying as we and other drivers who behaved correctly had to sit in our cars watching drivers use the bus lane - and they clearly knew exactly what they were doing. In fact, they probably thought we were all mugs.

One further point... there is a bus lane that is also heavily abused outside Antelope Park.
Finally, are the council’s own vehicles allowed to use bus lanes?
