I WAS interested in the letter from PS Ford of Eastleigh on the political content of this excellent paper.
I must point out that on the issue of fairness, everything discussed has a political connection – the criticism of various local councils and the ridiculous decisions of some judges, to name but a few.
Every injustice is the result of someone making a questionable decision. I think we need to know.
I agree wholeheartedly that the quotation of deep politics, rolling stock etc is incredibly boring, but sometimes it is the only way the working man learns anything.
I think the Daily Echo reflects a fair picture of local news, entertainment etc and people say the first thing when they open the paper is to read the letters.
Me, I read the death notices, and if I am not mentioned it means another good day coming.
