I HAVE received a letter from my Conservative ward councillor about his party's policy for 2008/09. He also says and I quote, "In May Southampton city residents elected, this city's first Conservative council in 23 years" end of quote and WRONG.
The voting last May ended up with 18 seats for the Labour Party and 18 for the Conservative Party. It was the Conservatives who were given one extra vote thanks to the treachery of one Lady, a member of the Liberal Democrat's, a party itself whose foundations were built on the sands of treachery.
