IT has taken a very long time to realise that the NHS was being manipulated by incompentent managers in all aspects of running a truly beneficial and complex health system.
At last there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Winchester's chief executive Martin Wakeley, new boss at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, appears to hit on the head what is needed. We all hope that he proceeds with his intentions and not side-stepped by bureaucrats because it does not suit THEIR plans and their pockets.
The NHS certainly needed upgrading, it was losing it's way. As with all weakened establishments a bad element creeps in. The public become aware of these shortcomings but their hands are tied. However, with constant nipping at their heels the powers that be will realise we, the patients and medical staff, are horrified at the waste of money, mishmash of procedure and total mismanagement of our NHS. Keep going Mr Martin Wakeley, we, Joe Public need you.
