IN the words of Victor Meldrew' I do not believe it. How can the contractors responsible for refurbishing the public loos in Winchester justify a quote of £250,000 for the work.
A builder could build a high class 4 bedroom house for this price.
Are they using marble and stainless steel which is completely vandal proof?
Or are they using consultants who as we all know, cost an "arm and a leg" to employ. I suspect this is the case. No wonder the council tax costs so much!
