HAVING recently lost valuables from my locked car at Wilverley car park in the New Forest, I would like to warn others to be on their guard when using Forest car parks.
I understand that there is a spate of thieving at present. The car was not broken into and was relocked so that my husband and I had returned home before realising our loss.
Be vigilant, carry everything, even house keys, with you when taking a walk, and ensure the thieves leave empty-handed.
